The Holy Spirit
Summary Series
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching about the Holy Spirit in several locations. Dr. Steve Kinnard and I presented this four part series together in the New York City Church of Christ. Upon moving to Houston, I began teaching the material on my own and have been able to teach several versions of it over the years.
The four part series summarizes some key points about the Holy Spirit - who He is, how He's working in our lives today, how we should work with Him, and how we can listen to His guidance.
Part 1 - Who is the Spirit?
Part 1 covers the significance of the Spirit, the personhood of the Spirit, some characteristics of the Spirit, and the Spirit's purpose.
Part 2 - The Spirit Transforms
Part 2 covers how the Spirit reaches out to the lost world and transforms people to be more like Jesus Christ.
Part 3 - Living by the Spirit
Part 3 covers our responsibility in the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.
Part 4 - Listening to the Spirit
Part 4 covers how one can listen to the Spirit and guidelines God provides for following the Spirit's guidance.
